Before recipient review
Photograph the seat without hiding worn areas under cushions. Show the arms, back and legs and disclose stains, odors, tears or loose joints. Mention whether it comes from a home with pets or smoke exposure. Acceptance remains the receiving organization’s decision.
Prepare only as agreed
Keep removable cushions with the chair. Explain stairs, tight turns and whether the feet detach, but do not dismantle it merely to complete a request. If the chair reclines or has powered parts, use the recliner guide as well and describe the mechanism in the notes.
