A practical Wellesley donation worksheet
L-shaped desk donation planner
A corner desk or return workstation may occupy much more space than its longest side suggests. Sketch the layout and record the length and depth of both arms. Identify which side the return sits on and whether the layout can actually be reversed.

Before recipient review
Photograph each pedestal, the corner connection and any attached hutch. Explain whether the desk is a modular set or a single continuous structure. Missing connectors and damaged panels matter even if the top looks sound. List a filing cabinet or chair separately.
Prepare only as agreed
Check office loading rules and describe doorways, turns and the floor. Do not assume a desk will fit through the exit simply because it arrived flat-packed. Ask the crew whether disassembly is included and keep hardware labeled by component if that work is agreed.
