A practical Wellesley donation worksheet
Sideboard donation planner
A buffet, credenza or dining-room cabinet can be one freestanding piece or the base of a larger hutch. Record the dimensions and identify any upper cabinet, stone top or glass panels. Explain whether components separate and include them in the item list.

Before recipient review
Empty drawers, cupboards and concealed compartments. Photograph interior shelves, doors, hinges and any damage to the top or base. Keep shelf pins with the piece. Disclose stuck doors, missing handles and damaged joints before recipient review.
Prepare only as agreed
Heavy tops and upper cabinets need an agreed handling plan. Do not detach them simply to make the item look easier to move. Describe stairs and tight turns, and confirm that the recipient wants the full set or the base alone. Count a separately listed hutch only once.
