A practical Wellesley donation worksheet
Standing desk donation planner
A sit-stand desk needs more than a clear tabletop photo. Identify whether adjustment is manual or powered, describe the brand and model if known, and explain any faults in the controls or movement. Include both the top dimensions and the base footprint.

Before recipient review
Show the handset, power supply and cable arrangement. Tell the reviewer whether the original controller and all parts are present. Do not describe a desk as working if you have not checked it recently, and do not demonstrate movement if there is a known electrical or mechanical fault.
Prepare only as agreed
Remove monitors, computers and personal accessories from the proposed donation. Ask who is responsible for disconnecting and preparing the desk for transport. Keep the relevant instructions with it. Elevator limits, stairs and an attached monitor arm can change the handling plan.
